1907--EM-35 1907 EM35 Liquid Control Valve
Woodward’s 1907 large liquid fuel control valve with EM-35 electric actuator accurately meters liquid fuel to industrial gas turbine applications. The valve may be used for almost any liquid-fueled industrial/aeroderivative gas turbine application with a required fuel flow between 150 to 25,000 pph (68 kg/hr to 11,340 kg/hr). Various flow ranges are available to meet a variety of specific applications. The combination of an EM-35 actuator, EM-35 digital driver, and the 1907 fuel valve delivers precise fuel control to meet the demanding accuracy needed for DLE applications.

1907-Large 1907 Large Liquid Fuel Control Valve
Woodward’s 1907 Large Liquid Fuel Valve accurately controls the flow of liquid fuel to small and medium industrial/aeroderivative gas turbines.
The valve may be used for almost any liquid-fueled industrial/aeroderivative gas turbine application with a required fuel flow between 150 to 25,000 pph (68 kg/hr to 11,340 kg/hr). Various flow ranges are available to meet a variety of specific applications. The valve typically operates with a servo control and acceleration limiter assembly for precise turbine performance.
A differential pressure regulator incorporated into the fuel valve maintains a constant pressure drop across the metering element, so fuel flow at a given position will remain constant. A minimum flow orifice operates in parallel with the metering element to provide a minimum flow of 150 pph (68 kg/hr).

ELMV  ELMV (Electric Liquid Fuel Control Valve)
Woodward’s Electric Liquid Metering Valve controls liquid fuel flow into various stages of an industrial gas turbine combustion system. The valve and all-electric actuator are integrated for precise fuel control under all operating conditions.
The valve section of the ELMV consists of a flow controller and a throttling pressure regulator. The regulator maintains a constant differential pressure across the control plug and seat. Plugs are contoured to provide an equal percent flow characteristic.
Woodward’s ELMV is supplied with an integral all-electric actuator that uses a brushless dc motor to drive the valve mechanism. A motor position resolver within the assembly acts as the primary motor commutation and actuator/valve position feedback device. This position signal is used by the external Woodward DVP (Digital Valve Positioner) as feedback to properly position the ELMV. A second resolver is attached to the valve stem and acts as a backup to the primary motor resolver. The actuator portion of the ELMV uses a soft stop spring that prevents the actuator from slamming into the minimum stop position in cases of fault detection.

Liquid-Shutoff-Valve Liquid Shutoff Valve
The Liquid Shutoff Valve platform is a three-way valve that provides high speed shutoff with bypass flow for pump protection on small and medium industrial and aeroderivative turbines. The valve is solenoid operated with 24 VDC or 125 VDC. Optional limit switches are available for independent feedback.

LQ25-Liquid LQ25 Liquid Fuel Control Valve
Woodward’s LQ25 liquid valve platform combines the following in one cost-effective package:
• electrically actuated, rotary fuel control valve 
• bypassing regulator 
• high speed shutoff valve

The LQ25 is used on industrial and aeroderivative gas turbine engines in the 6,000 to 42,000 kW output power range. The valve incorporates an integral brushless DC limited-angle torque motor to position the control ports. An external DVP (digital valve positioner) is recommended as it accepts both of the position resolver feedback devices, as well as an input command signal.
The valve platform comes with any of three fuel control port sizes (0.1 sq in; 0.2 sq in; 0.3 sq in) to accommodate a wide variety of applications. The integral bypassing regulator is recommended for use with positive displacement pump systems for total system protection. The LQ25 is compatible with most industrial liquid fuels with varying viscosities and lubricity.
Optional features include a pressurizing valve for low downstream manifold systems and an independent shutoff valve with closed limit switches.

LQ25T-Liquid LQ25T Liquid Fuel Control Valve Platform
Woodward’s LQ25T liquid valve is an electrically actuated, rotary fuel control valve for industrial and aeroderivative gas turbine use. The LQ25T liquid fuel control valve is for industrial and aeroderivative gas turbine engines in the 6000 to 42,000 kW output power range.
The valve is a two-way liquid fuel flow control valve utilizing a throttling type delta P regulator. This allows the valve to control pressure drop across the control port without bypassing fuel, making it ideal for centrifugal or other pressure source type fuel pumping systems. The valve incorporates an integral brushless DC limited-angle torque motor to position the control ports.
An external DVP (Digital Valve Positioner) is required in that it accepts both of the position resolver feedback devices as well as an input command signal. The valve platform comes with any of three fuel control port sizes (0.1 sq in; 0.2 sq in; 0.3 sq in) to accommodate a wide variety of applications. The LQ25T is compatible with most industrial liquid fuels with varying viscosities and lubricity.
An optional feature includes a secondary resolver for redundant valve position feedback.

LSOV25 LSOV25 Liquid Shutoff Valve  
Woodward’s LSOV25 is a three-way liquid fuel stop valve designed to rapidly shut off flow, preventing leakage into a gas turbine’s fuel nozzles.
In the de-energized state, the valve diverts inlet flow to bypass ports, preventing pressure damage to positive displacement fluid fuel systems. Normal installation of the valve is in the fuel line between the fuel regulating valve and the turbine. The valve diverts flows from the discharge to bypass ports any time the operating electrical signal is lost to the electrical solenoid. Rated flow is 30,000 lb/hr and both 24VDC and 125VDC solenoids are available. In addition, an optional closed-valve position switch can be provided.

Universal-Gas-Fuel Universal Gas Fuel, Liquid Fuel, or Water Shutoff Valve (USOV)
Woodward’s USOV provides high-speed shutoff of gas/liquid fuel or water in emergency and normal shutdown operation of industrial gas turbines. The valve operates at pressures up to 900 psia (6.2 Mpa) and, with its all stainless steel construction, assures availability of the valve under all operating conditions. The valve utilizes an internal spring to store the energy required for valve closure within 100 msec of loss of the 24VDC or 125VDC electrical signal to the control solenoid.
Two versions of the USOV are available:
• The two inch USOV will handle either liquid fuel or water.
• The three inch USOV will handle either gas or liquid fuels.

Flow capacities are determined by the fuel or water system’s constraints upon allowable pressure drop across the valve. Both versions of the USOV provide a closed position proximity switch, as well as a fuel/actuation air overboard vent to detect seal wear or contamination concern.
