String Box (ISB)

In a typical application, the ISB are used to merge the electrical energy of single PV module strings and also disconnect the DC lines from the inverter. The Woodward SOLO Inverters are able to control the ISB’s, and are equipped with the required terminals in standard configuration.

Smart String Box (SSB)

The standardized voltage levels allow easy integration with any solar installationIn a typical application, the SSB covers all the functionality of the ISB. In addition, the SSB also includes a complex monitoring system which monitors the current and behavior of every string.

SOLO Stations

Woodward SOLO Stations fully integrate a medium voltage transformer and a medium voltage switchgear - completely installed and cabled in the factory to assure minimum work at the site. Woodward technology is proven in many years of grid-tied applications, especially in regions with a weak grid. All components and control algorithms have proven high efficiency and stability under demanding conditions. The SOLO Inverter and stations are delivered fully parameterized and ready for use.
